On March 31, 2020 the team behind the Suburban Avenue label and the Resistance is Techno party in Rome, for several years a reference point of the electronic music in Italy and in Europe, publishes a digital compilation, like a virtual cd, called “The Italian Resistance – music against the virus” whose proceeds will be donated to the Italian Red Cross for the emergency due to COVID-19.

The compilation, on sale on Bandcamp and other music platforms, is composed of unreleased music produced exclusively by Italian artists such as Alessandro Adriani, Alfredo Mazzilli, Asymptote, Exilles, Fabrizio Lapiana, Fabrizio Rat, Hiver, Kaelan, Kaiser, Kobold, Endrew, Mattia Trani, Max Durante, Neel, Pearl River Sound, Rebecca Delle Piane, Subradeon, Uncrate, Z.I.P.P.O. The mastering of the tracks is by the sound engineer
Giovanni Conti (Artefacts Mastering studio, Berlin). The publication aims to spread a message of awareness of the principles of unity, solidarity and responsibility and to reduce the social distances created by the terrible virus.

All this to give its own contribution to those who are continuously fighting against Coronavirus in Italy. “Music Against The Virus” is a message of love and hope, through which we remember that music is freedom and joy, but also responsibility. An appeal is made to people to stay at home and do their utmost to stop the virus and return to their daily lives as soon as possible. In the last weeks the two brands have also participated in #reboot, the charity campaign for the Italian Red Cross, created by the Ugo community; they also donated the full profit of their sales on Bandcamp over the weekend when the platform had given up their compensation in favor of independent artists and labels.
